CDR082: 11th of 13 monthly Sidekick Wave single/EP

From Sidekick Wave

This started out as the first Sidekick Wave album. It was first assembled during a flurry of activity in December of 2020 and tried to apply the techniques of vaporwave (i.e. slowing down/reverbing) to doing a serious of remixes to previous Sidekick tracks (released and unreleased). I sent it to a label but they were in the process of disappearing so it was forgotten about it and focus turned instead on creating what would become "Withered".

Later, the material felt too long and so I removed a pair of tracks and edited two more down to size. I considered trying to get it released but again other projects took my attention.

Finally, as I'm gearing up to close the doors on the Sidekick Wave project I wanted this to finally get out the door. In March 2023 I did further editing (turning an album that was originally 41 minutes into a lean 18 minute EP), mastered it all and here it is finally - lost no more!
